The Married Couple’s Ministry gives married couples of our church and the community a spiritually safe place to develop God-centered relationships with other couples and Christ-like examples. Our focus is to promote healthy relationships, families, and homes with God as the head. With strong marriages, there are strong families, and a healthy church. Upper Room of Greater Gainesville COGIC realizes that the backbone of a great ministry are great families, and the backbone of great families are great marriages.
We support our husbands and wives with both Men’s & Women’s ministries, but we also come together as married couples to enjoy fellowship, financial training, recreation and of course the Word of God. Upper Room of Greater Gainesville COGIC Married Couples Ministries also plan retreats and/or an overnight getaway once a year.
The Married Couple’s Ministry at Upper Room of Greater Gainesville COGIC is currently lead by Lady Brecka Anderson and Deaconess Gloria Anderson.
Pastor Karl Anderson and Pastor Pearlie Shelton also offer pre-marital spiritual guidance prior to Christian weddings.
