Greetings from Upper Room Ministries…the following are today’s Announcements and Acknowledgements:

May is Family Month here at Upper Room….we endeavor to enrich and develop positive strong families here in our ministry through this month’s activities.

Wednesday Night is the Anointing of the Family service.  Everyone please bring the bottles and flasks of oil to be anointed and prayed over on Wednesday night to take back to your homes and keep your family covered.

Orphans' Offerings are due on3rdt Sunday!  The Orphans’ Offering donations for the month of May is Individually Wrapped Snacks.

Please turn in all donations/or monies to the Finance Committee or at the Welcome Center anytime during today’s service.  Thanks!

• Tomorrow is Manna Market Monday at the Metroplex!!  The Mission Outreach Ministries of Upper Room will be giving bread and other groceries items out between 9am and 11am.  Partners we are still short of supplies.  Please continue to bring bread and other items.  For further information, please see Sis. Sylvia Anderson or Mother Birdell O’Neal.

• Young Adults!!!  It’s time to get Recharged!  Our monthly Recharge Remix will be held this Thursday at 7:30pm at Starbuck’s on the corner of NW 16^th Avenue and 13^th Street.

• The Greater Gainesville District Convention will be on May 14^th – May 17^th.

Thursday, May 16^th – District Superintendent Karl Anderson, Speaker

• The District Meeting registration is now open.  Please see Lady Brecka Anderson or see the front desk greeters for a registration form.

• Let’s play ball!!!  Sign up with Missionary Shirley Herbert to be a part of UR Softball team.  For more information, please see Missionary Herbert.  Save the date!  The WF Robinson Memorial Softball Tournament is on June 15^th.  Please see Missionary Herbert for the next scheduled softball practice.

• Have you been blessed by the dance ministry? Consider sponsoring one dancer, as they venture to buy flags for the dance ministry.  We need your support!  Please see Sister Tashea Seymore for more details.  Money and measurements for New dance uniforms are today, May 5^th.  If you are sponsoring flags that money is due today as well.  Thanks for all you do for the Dance Ministry!

• WE NEED VOLUNTEER CAMP COUNSELORS FOR THE UR FUN! SUMMER CAMP –For 8 Weeks of FUNTASIA!!!  Come and help create a safe, fun and enriching experience for our campers.  We will need background checks and applications filled out immediately before we go through the interview process.  Please see the Youth Pastor, Elder McArthur Shelton II or our UR Pastors ASAP for more information.
• Big up’s to the ministry of the month for May, is our MOTHER’S BOARD! Our purpose driven partners of the month for May are all who are Mothers.  We love you all and appreciate you all for being all that you can be for God and your children.   Reminder:  Next Sunday is Mother’s Day!!!!
